Full-time Encryption is Here for storeBlox CS!
April 11, 2016
Security is of paramount importance to eBlox, and we make constant strides to improve the security of storeBlox CS. From enforcing and displaying password strength requirements to advanced credit card processing options, we are always working to reinforce the strength of your stores. It’s not the sexiest stuff in the world, but it’s critical for the safety of your business.
That’s why we’re proud to announce that storeBlox CS is now going full-time https. What does that mean? Your customers’ connections to the your store will now be encrypted all the time, for every page on the site, rather than only when passing sensitive information (like in a shopping cart or registration form).
This is good security policy first and foremost, but it’s also where everything is heading; in fact, Google has said that it will start penalizing sites in its search engine if they’re not fully secured on every page.
There’s no charge for this upgrade, and it’s now available to all stores. Enjoy!

More storeBlox CS Domains
March 1, 2012If you’ve been itching to put your storeBlox CS company store at a subdomain other than yourstore.storebloxcs.com, or if you’ve been holding off on a store until a really amazing domain comes along, rejoice! We now offer promoshops.com and promoorder.com as additional domains for store hosting. Customers with Standard storeBlox CS stores can host their sites at a subdomain of either of these – so if you’ve been waiting for coolstore.promoshops.com, now’s your chance to grab it!
As always, Pro-level stores include a top level domain – like coolstore.com – and a premium SSL certificate for your domain. For those customers that host at subdomains, though, you’ve now got a few new options for your store address.

storeBlox CS Password Security Improvements
November 9, 2010storeBlox CS now allows you to control password requirements on a store-by-store level. If your client requires strong passwords for security purposes, you can enable this option and users will be forced to create strong passwords when registering.
We’ve also added dynamic indication of password strength and matching to the registration form. These indicators change dynamically as the user types in their password.
While strong passwords are an option, we strongly (no pun intended) recommend that any customer who is concerned about security enable this option. More information on storeBlox CS can be found at eBlox.com.
