Print Synergies storeBlox 2 e-commerce site

eBlox is happy to announce the launch of Print Synergies, a storeBlox 2 web site for the Carrollton, TX promotional products distributor and printer. Printsynergies.com brings together a carefully-selected catalog of promotional products and apparel with extensive information on the design and printing services that the company offers.

Like most storeBlox 2 sites, Print Synergies couldn’t squeeze their business into the “template” that so many other industry solutions force distributors into — the need to prominently feature design and print solutions mandated either a custom site or a very flexible e-commerce platform. That’s where storeBlox 2 comes in.

Print Synergies also planned to launch with an SEO strategy with very specific performance requirements. In the process of interviewing nearly half a dozen SEO firms for the campaigns, Print Synergies had each firm vet all the e-commerce platforms they were considering. Once again, storeBlox 2 came out in front. With both manual and automated SEO capabilities, storeBlox 2 is the only industry solution for distributors and suppliers who are serious about search engine optimization.

With special attention to existing branding standards, we developed a unique look and feel for Print Synergies, carrying through corporate colors, typefaces and existing branding, while delivering a completely new online experience for the company. It’s quite a nice upgrade. Check it out at Printsynergies.com.

About Australia launches

About Australia travel web site

About Australia is built on a combination of WordPress and custom-developed code

We’re proud to launch AboutAustralia.com, a comprehensive travel website for South Pacific adventures. This was our first really huge WordPress project–we’ve done plenty of them before, but this one manages hundreds of pages and leverages custom code and integration to drive quite a bit of the content from a legacy database system. It’s also loaded with cool JQuery features like content sliders and dynamic galleries. It’s quite possibly the most comprehensive resource on South Pacific travel available on the web.

The wonderful folks at About Australia came to eBlox with an aging web site based on proprietary code. The site performed well in organic search (primarily from age and depth of content) but wasn’t very user-friendly. eBlox developed a completely new visual brand for the company, including logo and overall look and feel.

Then came the fun part: Dealing with hundreds of custom itineraries, each created from thousands of individual components. As a travel wholesaler, About Australia leverages regional expertise to build trips suited perfectly to nearly every need, from scuba diving to escorted tours. Translating all that into a hierarchical information architecture proved to be the biggest challenge. The browsing experience on the site is designed to take the visitor quickly to the list of trips most appropriate for their interests, and its combined with cross-referenced destinations and interests so visitors can quickly move from place to place.

Of course, as with any information-rich site, search is also a key component, and the search feature of About Australia was fine-tuned to deliver accurate trip results. To improve conversion, eBlox added live chat and more aggressive CTAs to the site, and content like photography was beefed up greatly.

We’re really happy with the result—it’s user-friendly, performs well and provides a great information resource for anyone looking to travel to the South Pacific. Check it out and let us know what you think!

eBlox launches Mondo Tees

Mondo Tees homepageWe’re proud to announce the launch of Mondo Tees, a consumer e-commerce website specializing in movie-related apparel, posters, DVDs and collectibles.

Mondo Tees is operated by the fine folks at Alamo Drafthouse Cinema, another great Austin company.

Mondotees.com showcases two great strengths of storeBlox: Complete design customization and apparel management. eBlox also built a JavaScript-based dynamic image slider for the homepage that loads thumbnails for all the products in the site and then allows a visitor to quickly scroll through them.

eBlox also developed custom listing styles for categories and searches, and used the storeBlox Banner Management system for rotation of header images on every page load.

The result? A dynamic, appealing merchandise site with a lot of visual “wow!” Check it out!
